Ingersoll Animal Hospital

Ingersoll Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital serving dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets. Its services include wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry, spay and neuter, surgery, diagnostics, senior pet care and behavioral training, and the practice is AAHA accredited. The hospital has been caring for pets since 1979 and says it sees more than 3,000 Des Moines pet owners.

Same-day and next-day appointments are offered when available, and the hospital works with all major pet insurers. Cat-only appointments are held on Tuesdays at its Pawsitive Strides location, which also offers rehabilitative and holistic therapy such as laser and shockwave therapy, underwater treadmill work and acupuncture. Medicine and veterinary diets can be ordered online for home delivery. The hospital is on Ingersoll Avenue in Des Moines.
