Smitten Kitten

Smitten Kitten is a cat-only grooming, boarding and supply shop, and the only one of its kind in the Des Moines area. Grooming covers professional bathing and grooming just for cats, handled by experienced groomers in a dog-free environment.

Boarding is also dog-free and cage-free, and cats from different households are never housed together, which keeps the stay quiet for nervous cats. The shop stocks a full line of cat foods and supplies, and grooming is by appointment only. Drop-off and pickup options are available. The store is just west of downtown Des Moines, and it is a locally owned business.
