Gemlatoslo

Gemlatoslo makes handmade, Italian-style gelato from scratch in small daily batches, including every mix-in and cone. The menu includes a rotating set of vegan flavors such as pistachio, dark chocolate orange, raspberry sorbetto and passionfruit sorbetto. The shop says its ingredients are at least 90 percent organic, with A2 dairy and organic allulose, and that everything is gluten-free and peanut-free.

The shop is on Chorro Street in downtown San Luis Obispo, across from the Mission. It is run by a family team, and the owners are a disabled veteran. Hours are listed as afternoon and evening, with later closing on Thursday through Saturday.
