Wineries & distilleries in San Luis Obispo

Wineries and distilleries are where you go to taste, buy and learn about wine and spirits made on site or nearby. Many offer tastings by the glass or flight, bottle sales, wine clubs with regular shipments, private events and wine shipping for out-of-state orders. Styles often include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, red blends and dessert wines, so you can explore what you like. If you are choosing one, call ahead to ask whether tastings need a reservation, since weekend slots fill up, and whether there is a tasting fee that is waived with a purchase. Before joining a wine club, check how often shipments arrive, whether you can skip a release and how cancellation works.
