Music & art lessons in Oakland

Music and art lessons help people learn an instrument, a dance form, drawing, painting or other creative skills, whether for a child exploring a new interest or an adult picking up something long put aside. Many teachers in this group offer private lessons, group classes, art camps, drop-in sessions, studio rental for practice, and some lessons online over Zoom. Community-based tutoring and reading programs are also common here. Before you commit, ask about the teacher's background and whether they offer a trial class, and check what the lesson fee covers, such as materials, recital costs or a studio fee. For popular class times, especially summer art camps and after-school slots in Oakland, booking early usually gives you more choice.
