Mother Fools Coffeehouse

Mother Fools Coffeehouse is a neighborhood coffeehouse that has been running since 1995, when it was sold to its current owners, Stephanie Rearick and Jon Hain. It serves coffee from Collectivo and pairs it with baked goods from Heirloom Bakery, which are all vegan. Gluten-free cookies, bars and breads come from 1146 Vegan in Sun Prairie, and gluten-free breakfast cookies come from Sweet Eats.

The cafe does not carry any dairy, and drinks are made with oat or soy milk. A monthly story slam and a new visual artist on the walls each month are part of the regular schedule. The coffeehouse is open seven days a week, with weekday and weekend hours that start at 7:30 AM. Mother Fools is at 1101 Williamson St. in Madison.
