Childcare & preschool in Madison

Childcare and preschool providers look after children during the workday and, in many cases, prepare them for kindergarten through structured play, early learning and routines. Services you may see include infant care, toddler programs, preschool classes, Montessori education, summer programming, music enrichment and meals or nutrition programs. Offerings differ a lot, so the listing you choose should match your child's age and your schedule. When you call, ask about staff-to-child ratios, how illness and pickup are handled, and whether the center is licensed. Waitlists can be long for infant spots, so ask early, and tour a classroom during active hours before you commit.
