Veterinarians in Madison

Veterinarians care for the health of pets and other animals, from routine checkups and vaccinations to diagnostic testing, dental work and surgery. Many practices also offer microchipping, preventive wellness care, and specialty services such as neurology, though what each office provides varies. When choosing a veterinarian in Madison, call ahead and ask whether they see your type of animal and whether they have an opening for a new patient, since schedules can fill quickly. Ask about after-hours emergency arrangements too, so you know where to go outside regular hours. If your pet needs a specialist or a procedure the practice does not offer, ask whether they can refer you and what that would involve.
