Honey Crumb Cake Studio

Honey Crumb Cake Studio makes custom cakes for weddings and celebrations of every kind, from classic buttercream tiers to Fine Art centerpieces and sculpted sugar work. Owner Carla Callahan designs and bakes everything to order, and the studio also sells pre-designed cakes and individual desserts through an online shop. Sugar flowers and group workshops round out what the studio offers.

Custom orders need planning. Small cakes usually need one to two weeks, while wedding cakes often need one to three months or more, and longer during peak season from May through September. Cake tastings are pre-ordered by email for pickup on Saturdays and include four flavors. The studio is not a walk-in bakery, and visits are by appointment. It is located in West Seattle, and most flavors can be made vegan, dairy-free or gluten-free, though the kitchen is not fully allergen-free.
