Sidewinders

Sidewinders Saloon is a country bar and restaurant on Campbell Avenue in Roanoke, known for the Sidewinder Burger topped with smoked brisket and an onion ring. The kitchen also serves USDA Angus steaks, including the Carpet Bagger, a ribeye topped with fried oysters and a special sauce. Line dancing nights and country club evenings draw a regular crowd, and the full menu is served all night.

The saloon is open most evenings from Tuesday through Saturday, with later hours on Thursdays. Large parties and groups should call ahead to reserve. The venue also hosts concerts and private events, and it offers event space, catering and band booking.
