A Few Old Goats Brewing

A Few Old Goats Brewing, known as AFOG, is a brewery with two locations in Southwestern Virginia. Its Roanoke taproom opened in July 2018 with a 2-barrel nano brewery on the west end of Downtown Roanoke, and the larger Buchanan location opened in October 2024. The brewers keep classic styles on tap while splitting batches, experimenting with ingredients and releasing barrel-aged specials and one-off batches.

The Roanoke location usually pours 10 to 14 taps and Buchanan usually has 12 to 18, with many beers shared between them. New recipes often debut in Roanoke before going into larger production in Buchanan. Upcoming events and releases are posted on the brewery's social media and website. The Roanoke spot is at 8th Street SW and the Buchanan spot is on Main Street in Buchanan.
