Blindhouse Beer

Blindhouse Beer is a brewery and bière cafe focused on mixed-culture saisons made with native yeast and bacteria, with floral and fruity aromas and a delicate acidity. The beers draw on regionally sourced ingredients and aim to reflect Virginia and greater Appalachia. The taproom also pours guest taps from brewers around the world, a short list of low-intervention wines and ciders, and a rotating selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

The menu is short, with pizzas made with organic flour, a cheese, pepperoni and a vegetarian Suprema, plus chocolate chip cookies and Zapps chips. The taproom also hosts private events and a variety of alternative music several times a month. Private events and booking requests go through email. The brewery is on Salem Avenue Southwest in Roanoke.
