The Maine Oyster Company

The Maine Oyster Company sells fresh Maine oysters from more than 30 independent farms, shipped overnight to customers, and runs an oyster bar in downtown Portland. The company also hosts group oyster shucking classes, oyster farm tours and a Shuck and Roll outing that pairs a class with a lobster roll lunch at its coastal retreat in Phippsburg. Its Portland raw bar serves oysters and lobster, and each October the company helps bring farmers to town for Maine OysterFest.

The Portland raw bar is at 38 Portland Street, while the Basecamp Lodge in Phippsburg works as a coastal retreat with a working oyster farm and lobster bakes.
