The Pawlor Salon and Spa

Pawlor Salon and Spa is a dog grooming and dog daycare business in Oakland. Its grooming menu runs from a basic bath with no styling to a deluxe package that includes a blowout, haircut or trim, teeth cleaning and nail trim, plus a paw treatment package and a longer, gentler TLC appointment for puppies, anxious dogs and dogs that need extra care.

Grooming prices start at a published base rate and are adjusted after an evaluation of the dog's coat and temperament. Pawlor does not take double-coated or extra-large dogs for its discounted afternoon bath. The business lists a Oakland street address on 17th Street, and reviewers describe a welcoming, boutique-style space where dogs are kept comfortable during their visit.
