Study Smarter

Study Smarter offers one-on-one tutoring in sciences, mathematics, language arts, social studies, Spanish and French, along with executive function coaching, test prep for the ISEE, HSPT and SSAT, Advanced Placement exam tutoring, and high school and college admissions help. Tutors work with students at every level, from rebuilding the fundamentals to sharpening the finer points, and have experience with students who have IEPs or school accommodations.

Most tutors are young adults still close to their own schooling, so they understand the pressures students face, and the team pairs each student with a tutor based on personality and interests. In-person tutoring takes place at the office in the Montclair district of Oakland. The firm has also worked with families across the East Bay, North Bay and South Bay, as well as in other parts of California and several other states.
