Nonprofits & charities in Erie

Nonprofits and charities in Erie, PA help people with needs that a business is not set up to meet, such as finding a home for an animal, getting a pet spayed or neutered at lower cost, reporting cruelty, or arranging a respectful cremation. Some also offer vaccinations or grooming. When choosing, ask whether the group is a registered nonprofit and what share of donations goes to its programs, and ask what an adoption or surgery fee covers. Call ahead, since adoption hours and surgery slots often fill fast and may need booking days in advance.
