Ending homelessness through shelter, housing and a thrift store728 West 9th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16502, Erie, PA

EUMA, the Erie United Methodist Alliance, works to end homelessness for families, Veterans, youth and others in the Erie area. Its programs include a seasonal shelter through Our Neighbors' Place, rapid re-housing, permanent housing, Liberty House and a healthcare for the homeless partnership. The organization has served the community since 1888.
The Rainbow Connection Thrift Store on Buffalo Road sells new and gently used clothing, household items and furniture at low prices, and all sale proceeds support EUMA's programs. Donations of clothing, furniture and household goods are accepted there, and free clothing goes to clients and local shelters through a voucher program. Store and donation hours are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The administrative office on West 9th Street keeps weekday business hours, and volunteers are welcome.
