Actitude Academy

Actitude Academy is a counseling practice led by Adrian Chavira, a licensed professional counselor-supervisor, licensed chemical dependency counselor and EMDR certified therapist. The practice works with children, teens and adults on anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, anger management, family conflict, grief and eating disorders.

Treatment uses cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing, and includes parent-child interaction therapy for families. Sessions can be held in person or by telehealth, and the practice is accepting new clients. Insurance is accepted from a long list of carriers including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, UnitedHealthcare and Medicaid plans, and out-of-pocket fees run $80 to $120. Appointments can be requested through the website, and online payments are accepted.
