Optimae LifeServices

Optimae LifeServices is a health care and human services organization that has operated in Iowa since 1987. It serves people with mental health needs, disabilities and other barriers through community-based services, behavioral health care, home health and rehabilitation. Its home health team provides skilled nursing, home health aides, and physical, occupational and speech therapy so customers can stay in their own homes while receiving medical care.

The organization serves more than 5,000 Iowans each year across central, southeastern, northeastern and south-central Iowa, with offices in more than 20 counties. Behavioral health services are offered in person or by telehealth, depending on location. Its Des Moines office is at 513 East 6th Street, and the company also runs microbusinesses such as farms and a bakery that give people with disabilities paid work.
