Sacred Art of Living Center

Sacred Art of Living Center is a nonprofit spiritual education institute offering workshops, retreats and professional development resources for whole-person caregiving, especially the art of living and dying. Its best-known work is the Art of Living & Dying Series, the two-year Anamcara Apprenticeship that trains compassionate companions, and Enneagram studies that draw on ancient wisdom schools.

Much of the work happens online, including virtual lessons for personal and professional caregivers and scheduled live events. The center also leads pilgrimages to sites in North America and Europe, and it has reached more than twenty thousand participants from thirty-five countries. The office is based in Bend, Oregon, and is open weekdays Monday through Thursday, so calling or writing ahead is the best way to reach the staff.
