Bend Redmond Habitat for Humanity

Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that helps local families buy affordable homes in Bend and Redmond. Buyers are chosen based on need, ability to pay, and willingness to partner, and each home is purchased with a mortgage sized to the buyer's budget. Community support covers the gap between what it costs Habitat to build and what local families can afford.

The organization also repairs existing homes and runs a ReStore for donated goods. Since it was founded in 1989, it has served more than 250 families and repaired 145 homes. Volunteers are welcome regardless of background, and assistance is offered without any faith conversion requirement. The office is at 224 NE Thurston Ave in Bend.
