JL Taekwondo Academy

JL Taekwondo Academy teaches taekwondo and martial arts to preschoolers, children, teens, adults and whole families. Its Little Dragon program is an educational martial arts class for pre-school kids, while the adult classes focus on fitness, confidence and practical self-defense. Master Hyun Woo Jung owns the school, and a team of black belt instructors teaches the classes.

Classes stress focus, discipline and self-improvement as much as kicking and punching, and the school also offers fitness kickboxing and a summer camp. Newcomers can start with one of the school's web specials. The academy serves Apex and nearby communities, and its staff describes the atmosphere as more like a family than a typical gym.
