Apple Playschools

Apple Playschools is a nonprofit early childhood education organization in Ann Arbor that runs several play-based playschools, a Spanish immersion playschool, and a nature immersion summer camp. Its curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, with an emergent focus on environmental education, social-emotional learning, process art, and anti-bias education. Teachers adapt activities to each child's interests and needs rather than following a set curriculum.

The Green Apple Garden Lower Playschool is at 2664 Miller Rd on Ann Arbor's northeast side, and the Manzanitas Spanish Immersion Playschool is on Packard Street. Both playschools are open Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm. Families interested in enrollment should start with the online interest list, since the executive director does not respond to enrollment inquiries directly.
