Shark Pit Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Shark Pit Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Winchester, Virginia, teaching both gi and no-gi BJJ to adults and kids. The academy also offers kickboxing, wrestling and submission grappling, and MMA training by invitation. It began in a residential garage in 2018, when a group of friends trained under third-degree black belt Joe Bauserman, and it later moved into a larger facility.

The academy is on Fort Collier Road in Winchester and serves students from Winchester, Frederick County and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley. New students can start with a free two-week trial. The facility has more than 2,200 square feet of mat space, air-conditioned lounge areas where parents can watch classes, a sauna during open hours and open mats, and day use of lockers.
