Birchwood Country Club

Birchwood Country Club is a private club in Westport with a golf course, a racquets program and a restaurant that has long been one of the town's better-known dining rooms. The nine-hole course offers several sets of tees, and the club runs seven Har-tru tennis courts, two lighted paddle courts and three new pickleball courts, with social and competitive programs for each. The menu leans toward organic, sustainable options and changes regularly.

Membership is the way in for most people, and the club also hosts a full calendar of social events and private events through the year. Birchwood sits on Kings Highway South, just off Post Road, and the club describes itself as a neighborhood club with a diverse, friendly membership. Its listed phone number is the best way to ask about membership, tee times or events.
