Iron Legion Strength Co. is a small, private gym in Westbrook where every member works with a coach. Personal training is the core of the business, offered as semi-private sessions, the most popular option, or one-on-one sessions. The goal is to build strength, add muscle and improve overall health. Beginners are a specialty, and coaches adjust the intensity of each session so it stays comfortable.

There are no membership fees or contracts. Training is pay as you go, with semi-private sessions at $40 an hour and one-on-one sessions at $75 an hour. New clients start with a free consultation and trial session with one of the coaches to see whether it is a good fit. Sessions are by appointment, with early weekday mornings, weekday evenings and weekend daytime hours. The business also has a second location in Scarborough.
