Aero Heating & Ventilating is a commercial sheet metal contractor that designs, fabricates and installs ductwork for commercial, institutional and industrial buildings. The company works on both design-build jobs and plan-and-spec projects, and its in-house shop handles galvanized, stainless, aluminum and welded carbon steel fabrication. Its services also include CAD coordination in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks to head off conflicts between trades before construction starts.
Aero was founded in 1990 by Clair and Karen Crandall and is now employee owned through an ESOP, which it adopted in 2017. The company has its office and fabrication facility at 15 Saunders Way in Westbrook, and its projects cover central Maine to southern New Hampshire, with a strong presence in the Portland area. The office is dog friendly.
