Horizon Homes

Horizon Homes is a family-owned home performance contractor in Westbrook that installs heat pumps and does insulation, air sealing and high-efficiency boiler work. The company is a certified Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor and a registered Efficiency Maine vendor, and it presents itself as offering weatherization and heat pump installation under one roof, which is less common among Maine contractors.

The free home energy assessment is the usual starting point: a certified energy advisor visits the home and returns a written, prioritized plan with clear pricing and available rebates. Efficiency Maine rebates are deducted from the project cost upfront, and the company handles the rebate paperwork. Requests can be made through the website or by phone, and the company says it calls back within one business day. Service is across Greater Portland and Southern Maine.
