Eat Thai, Thai Eatery serves Thai rice dishes, noodles, curries and appetizers, from classic pad thai and pad see ew to green curry, cashew chicken and papaya salad. Spice levels are marked on each dish, from none up to Thai hot, and most dishes can be made with chicken, pork, beef, tofu or mixed vegetables, with shrimp available as an upgrade. Specialties include catfish and salmon entrees and Bangkok BBQ pork from the grill.

Takeout and delivery are available, and orders can be placed online. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes can be requested. A lunch special runs Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes a choice of protein. The restaurant is on 22nd Street in West Des Moines.
