Thrift & consignment in Maine

Pick your town

Thrift and consignment shops help people find secondhand goods at lower cost, extend the life of items they already own, and sell pieces they no longer need. Depending on the store, you may find furniture, vintage clothing, housewares and seasonal decor, and some shops also take special orders. Towns here include Freeport, Bath, Falmouth, Kittery and Portland in Maine. Call ahead to confirm hours and ask whether the store accepts the kinds of items you plan to bring or sell, since policies differ. If you are shopping for a specific piece, ask whether staff will keep an eye out for it.
