The FCS Thrift Shop is run by Freeport Community Services and sells donated clothing and footwear, housewares, furniture, vintage goods and collectibles. Shoppers can find in-season clothing and a wide range of household items, and the shop is a main source of funding for the nonprofit's programs.
The shop is downtown on Depot Street and has free parking. It is open Monday through Friday and on Saturday mornings, and donations are accepted Tuesday through Saturday. Furniture and large rugs need to be arranged in advance by email. Items such as electronics, mattresses, car seats and underwear are not accepted. Bargains are also offered on the first and third Thursday of the month in the Bradley Room.
