Specialty food shops in Freeport

Specialty food shops sell the kinds of pantry items that are hard to find in a general grocery aisle, such as cooking oils, aged vinegars, and gourmet gifts. Many also offer tastings, so you can sample before you buy. In Freeport, you can browse olive oils, flavored oils, traditional balsamic and white balsamic vinegars, wine vinegars, tea, cruets, gift boxes, and subscription deliveries. Before you go, call ahead to ask whether the shop offers tastings and whether it carries the specific product you want. If you plan to buy a gift box or a subscription, ask how fresh the oils and vinegars are and when they were bottled, since freshness matters more for oil than for vinegar.
