Gibraltar Transmissions

Gibraltar Transmissions repairs and services automatic and manual transmissions, and also handles axles, CV joints, differentials and transfer cases. The shop works on everything from sedans and vans to 4x4s, RVs and heavy-duty trucks, including Allison transmissions. Transmission work is the core of the business, and the team will refurbish a transmission whether it is manual or automatic.

Drivers usually start with a free transmission check that includes a road test, an electronic scan and a look at the fluid and pan. Customers receive a firm quote before any repair, and the work is guaranteed, with warranty options available. Free towing support, road tests and shuttle rides are offered when needed. The shop is on Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island, and fleet and wholesale accounts are welcome.
