St. Pete Running Company is a locally owned, independent running store in St. Petersburg that sells running shoes, cross trainers, trail shoes, recovery footwear and sandals. Its signature Stride Smart Fitting Analysis is a free service that reviews running form and helps staff pick shoes that suit a runner's stride, whether they are a beginner buying a first pair or a seasoned marathoner.
The store runs group runs on Monday and Thursday evenings, a Wednesday track workout and a range of community events, and it has a shop-online option for shoes. The team includes several coaches and experienced racers. The store's listed address is on Dr. M.L.K. Jr. St. North, and a separate coffee-and-running location shares that building.
