U City Farmers Market

U City Farmers Market is a seasonal outdoor market where Missouri and Illinois farmers sell fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, grass-fed beef, free-range eggs, poultry, pork, honey and Missouri rainbow trout. Vendors also bring baked goods, jams, nuts, coffee, chocolates, small-batch artisan foods, fine arts, crafts, body care products and jewelry.

The market runs Saturdays from April into November, with a Wednesday evening season from June through September, holiday markets and indoor winter markets from January to March. It is held in the tree-filled grounds of Heman Park in University City, near the Centennial Commons Rec-Plex and the swimming pool, with plenty of free parking. Weekly music, culinary demos and children's activities are part of the regular schedule.
