The Point Community Center

The Point Community Center in South Portland is a space where kids can run and play on an indoor turf or in a playscape while adults work remotely, drink coffee, or catch up with friends. Birthday parties and corporate events are its main rentals, and it also has meeting rooms and a gymnasium.

Parties and large gatherings need a reservation, requested through an inquiry form, and the team usually responds within one to two business days. Party rooms cost $35 an hour for up to 25 guests or $55 an hour for up to 50, plus a $25 setup and cleaning fee. Adults must supervise children at all times, and food must be fully prepared before it arrives, since there is no refrigerator or freezer space. The building also hosts Eastpoint Christian Church services on Sundays.
