Med spas in South Portland

Med spas offer non-surgical cosmetic and skin treatments, often given by nurses, nurse practitioners or physicians under medical oversight. Common services include neurotoxin injections such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxxify, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, laser treatments and PRP therapy. Before you book in South Portland, ask who will perform the treatment and what their credentials are, and whether a licensed medical provider is on site. Check whether the consultation is free and whether the provider will explain expected results, recovery time and costs in writing. Many clinics book weeks ahead, so schedule early if you have an event in mind, and avoid treatments right before a special occasion in case of temporary redness or swelling.
