Maine Strong Balance Centers

Maine Strong Balance Centers is a physical therapy and occupational therapy practice focused on balance problems, with specialty programs in neurologic, vestibular, geriatric, limb loss, oncologic, aquatic and orthopedic therapy. Its therapists assess balance through individual and environmental risk checks and comprehensive balance testing, then build individualized training for gait, fall prevention and fall recovery, including disease-specific education and treatment. Dizziness, pain and weakness are all addressed as possible causes of feeling off-balance.

The practice works one-on-one with each patient and accepts major insurance, including Medicare. Appointments are made through its website or by phone. The South Portland location is at 380 Western Ave, with additional clinics in Scarborough, Saco and Westbrook.
