Coastal Wellness Health

Coastal Wellness Health is a small practice that combines acupuncture and Chinese medicine with naturopathic care. Dr. Ursula Schmidt handles acupuncture, herbal formulas and related therapies, while Dr. Beth Stockwell practices naturopathic primary care with a focus on digestive disorders, women's health and chronic inflammation. The two clinicians sometimes coordinate care when both are involved.

First visits run 60 to 90 minutes and are booked by phone rather than online, and the clinicians will suggest which practitioner is the better starting point. Insurance is accepted for acupuncture treatments, while naturopathic services are typically self-pay with superbills provided. The office is on Ocean Street in the Stanwood Park area of South Portland and is open weekdays during business hours.
