Wet Clay Cafe

Wet Clay Cafe is a paint-your-own pottery studio with a cafe, where guests choose a pre-fired piece, paint it with the glazes provided, and have it fired in the studio's kiln. Pieces range from $8 to $150, with glaze and firing included, and food and drinks are available for an extra charge. The cafe also offers pottery classes, summer camps, group events and studio memberships.

Walk-ins are welcome, while groups of six or more can reserve, and groups of eight or more need a deposit and a minimum spend of $55 per person on painting. Finished pieces are fired about seven days later and should be collected within 37 days, since unclaimed pieces are recycled without a refund. The studio is at 1109 North 35th Street in Seattle, and it is open daily, with later hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Gift cards are available.
