Targy's Tavern is a neighborhood bar in Upper Queen Anne, first opened shortly after Prohibition in 1937 and named for a longshoreman known as Targy. Its U-shaped bar top is still in place, and a bar bites menu is available. The tavern has been part of The Stedman Group since 2018.
The bar hosts bingo on Tuesday nights and trivia on Wednesdays, and weekday happy hour runs from 4 to 6 PM. Outside food is welcome, and the bar can be rented for private parties and special events by contacting them in advance. It sits on the corner of 6th and Crockett, and it stays open late, until 2 AM every night.
