Mashiko

Mashiko is a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar that has served sustainable seafood since 2009, when it became Seattle's first fully sustainable sushi bar. Its signature offering is omakase, a chef's-choice dining style with seven to ten course menus that range from a vegetarian Midori meal to a long tasting menu with seasonal seafood and fresh grated wasabi.

The restaurant takes reservations online and offers online ordering for pickup, and gift cards are available. Dinner is served six days a week, closed Tuesdays, with a last seating at 8:30 PM. Mashiko is on California Avenue in West Seattle, and the menus are built around reservations, so calling ahead is a good idea.
