Washington's adult outdoor soccer league since 19769750 Greenwood Avenue North, Seattle, WA
Greater Seattle Soccer League runs adult outdoor soccer for players of all skill levels, with about 250 teams competing in age groups from open play through the Over-65 division. Play follows FIFA law, with some changes such as unlimited substitutions in the older groups. The league traces its roots to the 1880s and was incorporated as a non-profit in 1976.
Players join as individual members and may sign on to several teams. The league keeps a player pool for managers looking for someone at a particular age or skill level. Each year has four sessions: winter, spring, summer and fall. The office is in north Seattle and is open Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and the board that governs the league is elected by the member teams.
