Shaner's Pizza

Shaner's Pizza serves thin crust pizza, which the restaurant has made since 1991. Its menu runs from classic pepperoni and sausage pies to specialty pizzas like the Margarita and Shane's Favorite, along with wings with a range of sauces and dry rubs, hoagies, burgers, salads and pasta dinners. Craft beer and a wine list are available to pair with a meal.

The restaurant takes phone orders for takeout and also accepts online orders through delivery partners. It sits at the Superior Avenue address in the Gulf Gate area of Sarasota, with a small dining room and a sports bar feel. Shane Rawley, the founder and owner, is a former major league pitcher who is known to chat with customers about baseball.
