Alpine Steakhouse

Alpine Steakhouse is a restaurant, butcher shop and small specialty grocery under one roof in Sarasota, operating since 1975. It is known for its TurDucKen, a boneless turkey stuffed with a chicken and a duck, which the site says is the only place in the state selling fresh TurDucKen. The menu also covers dry-aged prime steaks, seafood, lamb, and German specialties like wiener-schnitzel, sauerbraten and bratwurst.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and offers full catering. Everything is made in-house from scratch by the father-son team of Mark and Matt Rebhan, and the wine room carries more than 60 imported beers along with a fine wine selection. Gift cards are available. The restaurant is at 4520 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, and the butcher shop is open on days the restaurant is open.
