Rico's Pizzeria & Pasta House

Rico's is a Sicilian-style pizzeria and pasta house known for hand-tossed pizza, thin crust or thick Sicilian, and slow-simmered marinara with meatballs and sausage made in-house. The menu also covers baked ziti, lasagna, hot Italian subs and fresh salads. The Dentici family brought their Sicilian grandmothers' recipes from New Jersey in 1989 and still runs the kitchens.

There are six locations across Sarasota and Bradenton, each with its own menu and pricing, so check the one nearest you. The Bay Road shop is at 1902 Bay Rd in Sarasota. Most locations take orders by phone and through DoorDash or Uber Eats, and Rico's also does catering for family dinners, weddings, parties and office lunches.
