San Luis Tattoo Company is a private tattoo studio run by artist Danny Derrick, who has more than 19 years of tattooing experience. The shop specializes in custom American traditional tattoos with bold composition and strong contrast, in both classic black and grey and color. It is also known for goblet tattoos tied to the Madonna Inn, and it keeps flash designs on the walls for clients who want a ready-made classic piece.

All work is booked by appointment only, and the studio gives each client one-on-one attention in a relaxed, personal setting. Booking is temporarily paused right now, so people can join the waitlist to get the first chance at new openings. The shop is on Higuera Street at the corner of Marsh Street, in the same parking lot as McNamara Realty, next to the Marsh Street offramp.
