Lumina Alliance

Lumina Thrift is a secondhand store run by Lumina Alliance, a nonprofit that supports survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. The shop sells curated boutique finds and donated furniture, and it is staffed by the team from The Hope Chest. Proceeds go toward furnishing the emergency shelter and transitional housing units and toward the alliance's no-cost services for survivors.

The store is at 545 Higuera Street in Thrift Store Alley in San Luis Obispo. Furniture donations can be arranged by sending a photo to the alliance's donations address, and the store accepts volunteers through an online application. Donation drop-off hours are shorter than store hours, so check the schedule before bringing items in.
