Louisa's Place Restaurant

Louisa's Place is a traditional full-service family diner on Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo, serving breakfast and lunch daily. It is known for its breakfast and a classic counter, and the restaurant has been voted Best Breakfast in SLO County more than fifteen times. Its menu also includes barbecue and burgers, and the kitchen caters breakfast as well.

The diner is a regular stop for Cal Poly and Cuesta College students, their families, locals and visitors. Dine-in is available, and takeout can be ordered by calling ahead. The restaurant also hosts private parties and sells gift certificates for holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. The building has housed a restaurant since 1958, and the Sweeny family has owned it since 1991.
