HASLO

HASLO is the Housing Authority of the City of San Luis Obispo, a public agency that helps lower-income residents of San Luis Obispo County find and keep long-term housing. It runs the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program and Project-Based Voucher units, and it also rents restricted and non-subsidized apartments at several properties around the county, including Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, Paso Robles and Nipomo.

The Housing Choice Voucher program is currently closed to new applications, with the interest list to reopen when funding allows. Apartment listings and waiting lists change often, so check the current openings before applying. Landlords and property managers can also find inspection webinars and program updates here. HASLO has operated since 1968 and is located at 487 Leff Street in San Luis Obispo.
